List of Colour names

The table below list the named colours that are recognised by some browsers. Only a few of the named colours are web safe colours and are listed in bold. It is far safer to use the standard RGB method for naming colours, e.g. bgcolor="#00FFFF" rather than bgcolor="cyan" and also to stick to the web safe colours as mentioned in lesson 4 Colour RGB System.

Play safe, and use web safe colours, this means using the RGB Colour System rather than named colours.
